  2. Thanks for asking. I'm feeling better. Still a little sore. I think that's more from the hiatal hernia repair and the gall bladder removal though. I'm moving around better and getting in my fluids and Protein the best I can. My surgeon was very excited when he saw my gall bladder because he said it was in really bad shape, the worst he's seen. It's amazing what excites them.I chuckled at this. Surgeons find weird things funny. Glad you got all this done at once! Me too I was like if you're opening me up take everything out I don't wanna come back!!! Haha glad you're doing well. I mean you jumped back online and texted so you must be doing great!! Thank you. I am doing well. I go for my follow up tomorrow, so we'll see what they say.
  3. The only suggestion I can offer is to follow the instructions that you were given, since every surgeon has their own guidelines.

  5. @@jane13 I'm doing pretty good. Feeling better every day. It gets easier each day to get out of bed. Yesterday I was very proud of myself. I made my dr's goals for protein and fluids! I'm quite impressed with that as it was only my 2nd day home!
  6. If you are prone to anxiety it will probably happen, but you will get over it quickly.I am currently going through this with my sister in law, who is scheduled for surgery on Monday 8/17. I think it helped her that I instantly lost my hunger feeling. It was/is amazing.
  7. Congrats! I remember how excited I was to hear that news, even though it wasn't that long ago. It'll be here before you know it.

  16. Going pretty good. Surgeon got backed up so I didn't go in until 2:45 and got out about 5:00. Had sleeve, hiatal hernia repair, and gall bladder removed. Walked once before they gave me some meds, then tried to sleep for night. Too much going on so I barely slept. Gonna need some more meds soon. And I'm starting to feel nauseous.

  21. I can't believe the day is finally here. I can't sleep. I wanted to sleep until 8:30 and I've been up since 5:30. I'm so hungry right now. I'll get through it though. These next 5 hours are gonna fly. See ya on the losers bench!
