Protein Bars?

What are some good protein bars that you all are eating? I am looking for some tasty, low carb, low sugar, and high protein bars.

My nutritionist recommends Quest bars. I've never had a Protein bar even after 9 months pre-op because I've tried to focus on foods that won't cause carb or sugar cravings.

However, I am going to attempt making my own. The "Good Eats" collection on Netflix (episode 2) has many recipes for great all-natural protein bars. The quirky host (Alton Brown?) is entertaining to watch and models the cooking procedure in a way to make it easy to duplicate yourself.

Thanks WL WARRIOR, I am going to check that out. Thanks BarrySue, i am going to try it.

Pure Protein Bars are decent...

Another vote for Quest. Also the Quest Protein chips if you are really craving something salty. I put the light Laughing Cow cheese on them.

I bought some different flavors of Quest bars a couple of weeks ago. I haven't been able to get past the first bite of any of them. That was my first and last time I'll bother with protein bars.

Quest are the best!!!

Another quest vote here! The texture is odd... Threw me at first. Once I thought of it like a tootsie roll texture it was all good!

Gotta try chocolate chip cookie dough quest bars, absolutely the best...

You can buy sample packs of Quest from sites like Bariatric Choice. They are smaller sizes than normal so you can pay a bit less and try a variety.

I love the quest bars too! I have not tried them since surgery. I loved the apple pie, s'mores, and cookie dough for sure!!!

Quest are the nastiest bars, they literally taste like protein bars, you might as well drink a protein shake. Sure, they come in nice flavors but they don't taste like it at all. I eat atkins protein bars, those actually taste good.
