I need protein

I have never been a big sweets eater and all my protein shakes are fruity flavored. so that makes it difficult to add them to things like tomato soup and chicken broth and because of it I'm not getting my protein in. I did order unflavored and chicken flavored online but they won't be here until Wednesday. I don't know if I should try to eat some protein really soft chicken or something to get my protein in, or will I be OK until my protein comes in a few days. My doc appointment is Monday and I will ask then however just wondering if anyone had that issue and cheated with solid foods to get protein in? I was sleeved June 26 and have and had no problems, not on any pain meds, pretty much back to normal.

Make cream of chicken soup. Cook a chicken breast and put it in the nutra bullet/vitamix with a little milk or yogurt. Thin it out with chicken or veg broth.

How about plain yogurt or cottage cheese?

I did eat a yogurt today

I haven't tried cottage cheese yet

Purée butter beans until they are cream soup consistency. High in protein and potassium. Also United sells a bean and back cream soup you can purée.

I'm not sure about your surgeon, but mine told me that for the first week it was much more important to get my liquids in than to worry about my Protein.

Mine stresses protein. But I guess since I'm on a liquid diet they kinda go hand in hand
