  1. I don't have any pics yet but im down 33 pounds. My 3 months is 5pm days.
  2. Everyone is different but I would say those are gas pains. Reflux for me is more lingering pain or a burning sensation in my chest/throat. Try to walk as much and often as you can. Gas pains get better with walking.
  3. My program fee included bariatric advantage protein shakes. I am NOT a fan of all the fruity flavors, i prefer real food flavor so I ordered it myself chicken broth and unflavored in unjury which i love.....Anyway i can you send you the many fruit flavors that I have left over. Just message me ur address. If u like them, send me the postage cost back.
  4. I slept on my back and side the first few days. Woke up in the middle of the night on post op day 4 flat on my stomach! There was no pain so I went back to sleep. Slept like a baby.
  5. 56 pounds is great I was sleeved on June 26. Down 15 pounds in 10 days but I didn't have to do a diet before. Keep up the good work!
  6. I guess we are all motivated differently @NCTRNL. How far out are you and what's your progress?
  7. Great job. I go to work tomorrow. I am 10 days out today and had my first appointment today. Down 15 pounds. Nervous about work though. I have a desk job too hope I don't need a nap. Lol.
  8. I was told i could blend them in my protein shakes right after surgery and I did a few time. No problems.
  9. I am only 10 days out today and lost 15 pounds. Excited about that.
  10. Thanks for replying @kindle. I definitely don't want to be miserable over numbers. I know our bodies can fluctuate depending on time of day/month and that not what I want to be about. Glad it worked for you and I'm sure it will work for me. Congratulations on your success.
  11. Just left my 10 day post op appointment--- down 15 pounds since surgery! Advanced to soft foods :-)
  12. I agree with you completely. I think this will be my strategy.
  13. My home scale broke a few yrs back and I never replaced it. Now with this new journey I have in front of me I wonder if I need one.. I don't want to make my journey about numbers and I don't want to obsess over the scale like I have in so many other diets I've been on... or if I get in a stall, im only a week out. I plan on weighing at the doctors office or at my mom's from time to time but wonder if this is wise. I want this journey to be about changing my life and getting/feeling healthy no matter the numbers. Has anyone else tried to go this route?
  14. Thanks for sharing. I was having a difficult time getting Protein in.
  15. This is so good! Thanks so much!
  16. Mine stresses protein. But I guess since I'm on a liquid diet they kinda go hand in hand
  17. Going to pick some beans too. Thank you.
  18. I did eat a yogurt today I haven't tried cottage cheese yet
  19. That sounds sooo good. Thank you. Gonna try it tonight.
  20. I have never been a big sweets eater and all my protein shakes are fruity flavored. so that makes it difficult to add them to things like tomato soup and chicken broth and because of it I'm not getting my protein in. I did order unflavored and chicken flavored online but they won't be here until Wednesday. I don't know if I should try to eat some protein really soft chicken or something to get my protein in, or will I be OK until my protein comes in a few days. My doc appointment is Monday and I will ask then however just wondering if anyone had that issue and cheated with solid foods to get protein in? I was sleeved June 26 and have and had no problems, not on any pain meds, pretty much back to normal.
  21. I was sleeved on June 26 and I have been off all pain meds for two days. I would say if you need them take them your body will tell you when you don't. You just have to listen.
  22. I was sleeved on June 26 and I feel my pain has been minimal. The first day was the worst but never over a 6 on the 1-10 scale. I haven't taken any type of pain meds in two days. I just have pain for the moment when i take too big of a gulp of something.
  23. Wow your protein intake is great. I have bariatric advantage from my docs office. Im going to see if I can find either unpaired or chicken flavored to add to broth tomorrow. I may buy some boost too. I haven't had nausea either, just takes forever to get anything down. Thank you for responding! Good Luck to you too! Correction. Unflavored
