  1. Im 4days out and thought I was starving at first too. But I noticed when I took my pain med, the hunger pangs went away too. I think mine where more gas pains since i never got dizzy or lightheadedness... which I do if im really hungry. Now that the gas is out my body most of that grumbling has stopped and the "hunger pangs" are gone too.
  2. Straws seem to be the only way I can get anything down. Im only 4days out.
  3. Hi I am 4days out and have not experienced that pain. I am wondering how much protein you have been able to get in? Today I got one pack of 27g in a 16oz bottle of water. I was full and bloated all day too. Couldn't get anything else down. Wondering if you or anyone else can tell me if that's normal for you.
  4. Nothing stands out yet. Waiting for things to heal so I can intake more. Kind of worried about how long that will take. Other than that ask your nurses and doctor tons of questions.
  5. Good Luck on your journey. My surgery was June 26.
  6. Hey everyone! Just a quick update.... I made it through to better healthier me. Had a some pain in the beginning and my surgery took 3 hours instead of the first thought 1 1/2 hrs. My surgeon says I have a really narrow torso which made it hard to access everything. I also had to have 5 incisions instead of 3. But overall I am walking great. Just some pain with swallowing once it hits my stomach. Passing gas okay to. About to head home just wanted to check in with you all. Let me know if u have any questions for me!
