Protein

How much protein were you all advised to take? I was told between 65-75g, but I noticed many were told way more than that. Just curious.

Mine advised 80-100 grams a day. My Nut is super adamant about me getting enough protein, "The body's architect" she says ????????

I was told 80-95g/day and I thought that was kinda high. I believe that it should be like 0.8g/kg....but I really am not sure. I'm no nutritionist lol

My nutritionist said between 60-80 for me. I think it may be a bit based on the nutritionist but also our starting weight. Protein makes you feel fuller for longer so there must be a goal in their mind.

My husband who is at the correct weight asked my nutritionist for him and she said he needed 100g of protein.

60-100

At first my goal was 80 grams. At 3 months, my doctor wanted me to increase it to 100. I get that or more every day.

60g but I typically get closer to 80.

I was told 58...should I have a talk with her again!? :(

My understanding is that it's based on starting BMI. For my surgeon, males and anyone over 50 BMI's protein requirement is 100 grams. So, it depends on where you start.
