Short Sleevers?

Hey guys, so I am 5 feet tall, which is really short! I was hoping to hear from some other short Sleevers, so I can have a better expectation of weight loss. How much weight did you guys lose/ how quickly? Does anyone have before and after photos? It's crazy when your this short, because the BMI charts all day that I am supposed to weigh between 95-105lbs; I can't even imagine what I would look like at 105lbs. Anyway, if there are any short Sleevers out there who could give me some insight that would be awesome. Thank you guys!!!

Hi short sleevets! Anyone on here have had breast augmentation. I'm scheduled in a couple weeks just wanting input on recovery with our sleeves

So Im 5" and the BMI charts I check online says 97-125 which I think is way too small for me, havent been that small since high school... Im hoping to get down to 130/135 pounds. Right now Im 148lbs and Im 5 1/2 months post op..

Ok so I'm also 5'0ft. Got sleeved June 20th 2015. Surgery day weight 190lbs. June-July, lost the most which was 20lbs. July- current 30lbs. Goal weight is 110lbs. Currently 140lbs. Weight lost just depends on how much calories you put in verses burn/workout. I've been slacking it but I'll get there soon enough. Good luck! post-257327-14488711148028_thumb.jpgpost-257327-14488711361778_thumb.jpg

I was the opposite. In 2001 I had breast reduction. My regret is that they all told me I would be able to breast feed and I could not ( it's in fact rare to be able to fully bf after surgery depending on how and what they cut.) I don't know how your sleeve will effect healing. Sorry I'm no help but I did want you to know to ask about and research bf if you aren't finished having babies and want to bf.

I'm 5'1 and have the same thoughts!! My dr. hasnt asked me to set a definite goal weight. I honestly don't want to. I have an idea of a number but it depends how I feel when I get there. I do know this. My sister is 5'0 and lost about 120 pds on her own. She now weighs 101 and she looks perfectly petite and healthy. It seems outrageous to us but who knows. It may be very possible for us shorties to do well at that weight. I'm more worried about my skin. If I got down to 120, I'd have a 184 weight loss....Im 38 and people keep saying Im young enough my skin will tighten up etc but I'm not so confident. I think it's a huge motivator for me to keep walking and kill it once Im allowed to workout in the gym. I used to have great biceps but triceps are so hard to build up. I'm already getting bat wings from my weight loss. I'm glad you posted as a short sleever. I'll be checking back with you guys!

My BMI was 56% before surgery. Got sleeved on 11/11/15. I can already tell I'm gonna end up an A cup at the end of this and for the most part am making peace with it. I've been a B cup and always felt that was okay for my size/height. I just can't wait to buy regular bras from any store. First stop, Victoria Secret, you know it!!!

Lol Victoria Secret! That will be a definite non-scale victory!

Finally sleeved on 12/22 can't wait to see you sold progress so I can compare to mine!!!

It may be some rough weeks through stage two so vent to us anytime. Its a journey of ups and downs for sure but youre gonna make it no matter what! Thats what you can focus on. Im 2 months and 2 wks out, down 58 pds and everyday I thank myself for loving me enough to take this monster step. For me. For my life. For my future. Welcome to this community! Blessings and Happy New You in 2016!!! Lets rock n' roll!!!

I am having a really hard time with the liquids stage I just want to eat some mashed potatoes and baked turkey or chicken so bad lol

any other shorties around a year out? How's it going??

I'm 5'4" my doc says my goal weight is 120lbs which I think was my birth weight! Ha! My body frame is very petite under my weight. I can't imagine what 120lbs will feel like, but I imagine I'll move like a hummingbird!
