  1. I was sleeved June 21st 2015. As for drinking and feeling like its liquid fire, I can't help you on that one. I personally never experienced that feeling but as for the nausea and feeling that you've " made a mistake?", I was right there with you. I was extremely nausea, dizzy and just felt like " what did I do to myself?!?! But believe me, it all goes away and then you realize it's the best decision you've ever made! It took about a month for me to feel good about what I had done. In my situation, the first month was HELL. After the nausea went away, I was left with extreme hunger..... Good luck to you!
  2. Ok so I'm also 5'0ft. Got sleeved June 20th 2015. Surgery day weight 190lbs. June-July, lost the most which was 20lbs. July- current 30lbs. Goal weight is 110lbs. Currently 140lbs. Weight lost just depends on how much calories you put in verses burn/workout. I've been slacking it but I'll get there soon enough. Good luck!
  3. I will be honest. I had my sleeve done June 20, 2015. The first month, especially the first week after surgery, I thought to Myself, WHAT DID I DO!?!? This is HORRIBLE!!! I'm starving!!! Total regret! But after that month, when you can start eating again, I started feeling better and better. Down 51lbs since surgery and I have ZERO regrets. TOTALLY WORTH IT!
  4. Hello everyone! I'm a 33 yr old female that has been over weight since the age of 7. When I finally had had enough with dieting my ENTIRE life, I had just had my son, was 190lbs and at my short stature of only 5'0ft, feeling horrible with lugging around so much weight. Happy to say I'm down 51lbs, 5 months post-op! Can't wait to see and feel my new body when I reach my goal weight of 110lbs!!!! Progress feels and looks sooo good!
  5. I'm 5'0ft as well and JUST had my vertical sleeve with gallbladder removal done 6/22/15. So I'm 5 days out and feel pretty good. Have lost 6lbs since surgery. Must admit the first 3 days were ruff! Extremely nauseous and dizzy. Couldn't drink anything for the first 2 days. third day I was finally able to consume about 6 ounces of fluid in a day. Which isn't much but better than nothing. Now I'm up to 33 oz. a day. I won't lie, I'm still VERY VERY hungry but I got my eye on the prize and know it will all be 100% worth it in the end. Goal eight loss is 80lbs. Starting weight 190. Good luck guys! ????
