  3. Got my sleeve on the 22nd in not 4 days post op I hate the liquid diet stage can't wait till these two weeks pass it felt like such a short time and my surgery was here but now it feels like the days are dragging hope the speed past
  4. Finally sleeved on 12/22 can't wait to see you sold progress so I can compare to mine!!!
  5. Just got sleeved 12/22 still in denial want to eat real foods but on a liquid diet :/ hoping the two weeks fly by!
  6. What are your symtoms or signs of hunger? I'm asking bc I'm 4 days post op and I'm always hungry too but I realize it's only head hunger like I'm hungry all the time bc I want food bc I want to eat things that I used to eat or like I used to eat... But at the same time I can only fit 1oz of water and I'm having full pains... If it's head hunger u have than that will take a while to subside bc you have to train ur body not to crave these things! Hope that all makes sense!
  7. I got sleeved on the 22nd so right there with you!! Excited for our new life but currently hating this new stage we are in liquids are horrible!! Lol

  9. That stinks that you are going thru all of this but I understand u being there for your son... Maybe alleviate some off your plate some how... Ur bf needs to get his license so he can get his own car or better yet have them both take public transportation that way they get to what they need and u can have some free time... Did u already have ur surgery or are u waiting to?

  12. Military hospital they are more cautious bc we aren't paying patients so they can be more cautious besides a lot of the patients travel to this hospital so the dr just wants to make sure there are no leaks and stuff :/ it's common protocol at this hospital... I'm also afraid to postpone bc I'm a dependent which means not priority so if I postpone there's a possibility I would have to wait months :/

  18. I've been scheduled for my surgery... I'm worried and stressing but mainly I'm upset about Christmas and the fact that I may not get to spend it with my kids here the doctor keeps you from 2-4 nights so I'm hoping everything goes great for me and I can leave on Christmas Eve anyone else a Christmas sleever?
  19. I was told that for bypass it pushes the food through your pouch too fast and for sleeve the liquid fills up your area too fast and also stretches your pouch :/ I wouldn't do it unless ur completely chocking and even then you probably aren't taking small enough bites and chewing enough this is really a practice even people without the wls should implement my whole family is doing this with me
  20. I'm 31 as well and getting sleeved on the 22nd of Dec good luck!!
  21. Hi I'm 5'2 on a good day lol I am currently at 217 and have a scheduled surgery date of December 22nd hoping to read success stories and maybe meet someone going through the journey at the same time
