Bodybugg users report here!

Hi, well, I've been reading the bodybugg reports and finally got one after not being able to lose a pound after 6 weeks. I was banded on February 13, 2007. At that time, I weighed 271.4. Six weeks ago, I weighed in at 246 and went back up to 249 due to fat loss/muscle gain. (Not complaining there) that is where I stayed until now. I wasn't depressed since I thought I was doing everything right. I was eating less and excercising more. Well, at least that is what I thought until I got the bodybugg. Pudin' was a big inspiration for that one. I've had the BB for 3 days now and I finally broke through the plateu. I'm right back to 246 with more fat loss and muscle gain. It's so exciting.

I guess I needed lapband and armband. I'm just banded everywhere. LOL!! It really is motivating to see where you are at with the numbers. Even though I was exercising my butt off, it still wasn't enough and now, I know how much more I have to exercise through the day. It's fun to see the scale going down again. Finally!!!

Anyways, I think we should log our stats for the bodybugg on here. It's really fun!!

So far, 3lb weight loss on the bodybugg/lapband from June 4-7. YEAH!!!

The bodybugg is meant to be worn on the right arm. There are sensors on the bodybugg that detect body temp and air temp and if you have it on the left arm, those sensors will be backwards. Now if you

I have been doing great with my body bugg I purchase it one week after my surgery as another tool to help with my weight loss. I am so happy that u started before u have the surgery it will make your recovery easier. I only post when I have question or problems that people here might can help with.

CONGRATS AND GOOD LUCK :frown:

i was looking in to getting the band but i really dont want to have to go that way if i dont have to i want to do this kinda my self i mean i got fat by my self so i want to see if i can lose it the same so here i go

well I don't have a problem with losing but it always come back with more, we all got fat by ourself but sometime you have to know when you need help like many addiction and life problems, and the band is my help a tool to get me at a healthy weight and keep it off, I still have to watch what I eat and exercise so its no easy way out .

I'm with Trystelle....when I look at your numbers I wonder what the hell is wrong with me, because I'm logging about half of what you are. PATHETIC! LOL

got mine yesterday. turns out i burn 600 calories while working. not even on a busy day.

rbender: what kind of activity are you doing?

i got to curves and it only counted 584 calories while there- and i go around the circuit 4 times. which is double the recomended 2 times. does seem like much of a workout

ellebrookes

i treadmill 30 mins not to fast about 3.5-4 mph the real work out is at my job i clean a town hall building and there a tons of steps and lots of mopping and vaccing and bathrooms to be washed i never really thought my job was that much of a work out but turns out after being on my feet and moving non stop i burn a 30000-3500 cals just at work so i shocked so if you need a good work out you can help me at my jod =) thats it not much to it

Ahh, I miss the good old days of being able to burn 1000 calories in an hour workout. My body has become more efficient with weight loss and it's getting harder and harder to meet my target burn. I also use a heart rate monitor and I used to hit 85% max heart rate easily. Now I'm lucky if I hit 60% some days.

I am selling my BodyBugg that I just got. Just did my taxes and it is NOT pretty. I am darn near panicked right now. I need to sell this as any little bit will help right now. If anyone is interested, PM me. I bought for $180. It still has trial membership good until March 2, 2008.
