Almost a Year out..but having an issue

Recommended Posts

I am almost a year out, and am having some stomch problems or so I think it is my stomach. I have been getting these like "Charley Horse" type cramps midsection to the right of my abdomen. I have had lots of scans and ultrasounds done and everything comes back fine. I called my bariatric surgeons office today and my surgeon wants to do an endoscope to see if it is possibly something to do with my sleeve. Has anyone else every expericed this type of feeling? They are extremely painful and last for up to 15-20 min and the only way to get it to go away is if I lay down on my back and strech out. Also makes me very nauseated when thesee cramps come on.

Just want to see if anyone else has ever had this problem.

Thanks

The location makes it sound like it's NOT your stomach, but I hope they can figure out what it is and you can get some relief soon. That doesn't sound fun.

I just wondering if it is a hernia? I have never had one nor do I know what they feel like. Has anyone had or have a hernia, what does it feel like?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
