Newly banded!

Hello everyone! I had my surgery on 1/15/15 so I'm now 2 wks post op. I'm just now starting soft foods and am so excited!! My Dr. said soft foods as in soft cooked or canned vegetables, canned tuna or chicken, meat loaf etc. I hope I do ok on those type things! I'm starting to really get hungry a lot. Is that normal? I've lost 12 pounds so far. I hope it keeps coming off!

Congratulations !!! Welcome to your new life!

Sounds like you're doing beautifully -- very normal to be getting hungry again. Keep all your appointments and enjoy the ride. Best wishes to you for this healthy new life you are choosing for yourself!

Thanks to both of you! My best wishes to yall too!! I'm on my way to my 2 week postop appt. I'm a little nervous because it feels like my port has flipped sideways! I'm feeling the edge of it and it sticks out! I wonder what the docs gonna do?!?!
