Hey there! I'm glad you're doing well! Bi understand about the gas...mine was awful too! I don't know about that exact pain you're describing but I've had pains in the same area except on the left...above the actual band. Sometimes it's shooting pains and feels like a baby kicking. My doctors office said that it was probably just "healing" of all the tissue and fibers that were messed with during surgery. That would be my guess for your painful area above the port site. Maybe that specific area was touched or rubbed inside your stomach. I hope you get to feeling better and I wish you the best!

Hello everyone! I had my surgery on 1/15/15 so I'm now 2 wks post op. I'm just now starting soft foods and am so excited!! My Dr. said soft foods as in soft cooked or canned vegetables, canned tuna or chicken, meat loaf etc. I hope I do ok on those type things! I'm starting to really get hungry a lot. Is that normal? I've lost 12 pounds so far. I hope it keeps coming off!

Thanks to both of you! My best wishes to yall too!! I'm on my way to my 2 week postop appt. I'm a little nervous because it feels like my port has flipped sideways! I'm feeling the edge of it and it sticks out! I wonder what the docs gonna do?!?!
