  • Surgery was Monday the 5th! Doing really really well! I was home Tuesday evening and Wednesday went to the mall and walked with my mom for about an hour. It's cold and snowy so outside isn't an optio

  • I absolutely refuse to buy new clothes until I am sleeved. I may purchase some cozy jammy pants, maybe a couple of tank tops to wear around the house. That is it. I will waste no more money on this

I am also going in January! My date is set for 1/16 in Mexico. I SO excited and nervous. I really would like to go NOW, but, I agreed to go after the holidays to make it easier on my boyfriend and family.

Where are you having your surgery done?

In Philadelphia at Jefferson University Hospital..I can't wait. If you have a smartphone download the app called Waterlogged it's really helping me get my liquids in. Keep in touch!

Nice! I am working on drinking more Water (read: less Diet Coke!) and adjusting my diet.

My insurance does not cover obesity at all, so I opted for Mexico. However, I am struggling with 'I ONLY HAVE 2 MORE MONTHS TO EAT ______, better do it now!". So, I have gained about 5lbs in the last 2-3 weeks.

But, today I am back on track. I am working on high protien, low carb and more water.

I live in rural AK, so I cannot run out and buy Protein drinks/powder, but I ordered a ton of stuff on Amazon and when they come in, I will be subbing meals and doing test runs to see what I like for the 2 week pre-op diet as well as post-op liquids. I am super excited to have the tools to get back on the right track.

I will have to check out the app...because I need more water! Thanks for the tip! :)

Hi ladies I'm getting sleeved Jam 7th at Anne Arundel Medical Center here Maryland.

I hope to join you all in January!

I am booked for January 14/15 with Dr. Valenzuela in Tijuana Mexico :-)

Hoping to have mine in January also. With Dr. Landerholm, at Puget Sound Bariatrics. :)

My op is for 21st January I should have been October but fell and broke my wrist had to have a plate and pins put in wrist .... had to cancel Oct date ....... so the waiting continues as does the nerves and the excitement ..... looking forward to being on the sleeved side .

I'm penciled in for January 2nd.

Since it looks like December might not happen for me I am hoping to be with you in January! :)
