I have a slow weight loss also ..... feel like I have failed ... doc was expecting me to have lost more than I had on my last visit think my body has gone into a plateau..... onwards and upwards I just have to see where this journey takes me

Feeling pretty low at the moment I have only lost 4lb in 8 weeks ...... One doctor visit to the next Doc said to me that he thought I would have lost more than I had ...came out feeling like a failure started weight loss 213lbs 4 months later 174lbs I know it's coming off but it's a painfully slow process ..... How is everyone else doing

I am 11 weeks post op and asked my doctor 2 weeks ago when can I have my bubbles (champagne) he said it will make you burp like a builder but go ahead and have a drink it will not hurt you stomach so had a go and no bad side effects 3 glasses of champagne cocktails went down quite nicely ..... Don't do this everyday ha ha I was on a weekend away with a friend it was nice to know I can have a wee drink when I want too

On my way home from hospital sleeved 21st jan all has been ok gas pains now subsiding ... on to the next journey trying to get fluids and proteins in good luck everyone with your journey

Oh dear go in tomorrow at 6.30 am couldnt be anymore anxious that I am feeling now ... keep coming back to these post because they certainly make me feel better

Oh it's getting closer and closer feels very nervous but I know it's the right choice ... my date is the 21st good luck everyone I do hope if all goes smoothly

My op is for 21st January I should have been October but fell and broke my wrist had to have a plate and pins put in wrist .... had to cancel Oct date ....... so the waiting continues as does the nerves and the excitement ..... looking forward to being on the sleeved side .

Oh the usual ... Not coming through the anaesthetic , sleeve will leak , scared of regretting , but deep down I know I have to take the risk and go for it . Hopefully I will say it's the best decision I have made eeeeeeek

I am getting sleeved 25 th October and I am bloody petrified lol
