I found out on August 28th and they first offered me surgery on Sept. 24th. But I had prior commitments so I had it October 8th.

I was sleeved 5 weeks ago with Dr. Pham. Absolutely love him and complete trust that he is the best. Never, ever go to Synergy! Cavaretta is terrible. I had BCBS and they covered my sleeve. After everything was finally submitted from the doctors I was approved in 48 hours.

I'm hoping my stall broke...finally the scale changed and lost 3 more pounds after 10 days! That's 16 pounds since surgery 3 weeks today. Keep it moving!!!

Thank you so very much for all your words of advice and encouragement. I will try to be patient and thank full for my sleeve because I totally would of just gone back to my old ways after 4 days of no change. My sleeve will keep me strong! I will just put the scale away. Thanks again everyone!

Can it really be possible to be at a stall already since 1.5 weeks post-op? Very frustrating already. I was sleeved October 8th and have not lost anything since Sunday and today is Thursday. I am still on my full liquid diet, get all my protein in and liquids and do take my daily walk. I'm not cleared to do any harder exercises yet being just 2 weeks. Need to hear others have had this and what I can do different? Everyday I think "tomorrow the scale will change". :-(

Hi, just found out today that after months of doing everything required and soooo scared about my insurance covering my VSG I got the approval that I will be covered! So excited but very scared at the same time. Still don't have a definite surgery date but would so appreciate connecting with someone from Buffalo, NY going through the same thing. TY
