Jenjo, you really do look fantastic :) You have come so far! I totally relate to what you're saying. I'm 10 months out as of yesterday. I am THRILLED to be where I'm at but I don't want to be done yet! I feel like I have to work much harder now for ANY loss and I'm not sure how to jump start it again. I am also around a size 12 but still feel "big" because of the skin flap below my belly button. My cardio is done in a dance studio. I compare myself to the other ladies (all younger and smaller) and that is just never good. I just shouldn't even go there, comparing myself to others is just dangerous territory.

Just this morning I was telling myself "Sherri, its time to re-group and get this going again!" I'd like to lose another 10 by my year anniversary.

Truly - you look great!

Jenjo you really look amazing! You sure don't look "big" in your photo. You look so tiny in that black dress (unless that isn't really you, lol). However, I truly understand how you feel. I'm 6.5 months out and have lost just 5# in the past 2 months. Im starting to believe that I'm not going to lose the last 25# I need to lose (all stomach). We bot should probably take Cowgirl Jane's advice and up the exercise and lower the carb intake.

Good Luck!!!

You look great but I totally understand. I was a size 4-6 most of my life until I lost control and gained 100 pounds in 5 years. Now, although I've been sleeved and am going back down, no double digit sizes will ever make me happy, that's for sure. So I get it. I wouldn't give up, though. I'd go low carb, high intensity training - weight training, too. Do you run? Running is what kept me a size 4 late into my 40s. I'm too heavy to run now - but will as soon as I'm able. There are tons of 5k training apps to get you started.:-)

You are a beauty! You have come so far in just one year. Celebrate what you have done for you and your life. The journey you have been on is impressive and I hope you truly take a few moments to realize the gift you have given to yourself. 95 pounds......95 pounds. I can't wait till it is my turn to be sleeved and my journey begins. Some day I hope I will be able to say I lost 95 pounds! I'm proud of you and hope you take the time to be proud of yourself. You are full of awesomeness!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
