And it comes with travel bags you have to look inside the bag for them. And 30 grams of Protein for a whole scoop and its 15grams for a half of scoop. You can even mix it in coffee I put it in my milk when I'm making Cereal all I can say is I love it! !!!!!

can you add multiple packets of Protein powders to double or triple your protein in 1 drink?

You could but it would be a waste of protein and money.

Our bodies only metabolize about 20-30 grams of protein per hour.

I have never heard of GENEPRO. I looked it up and all I found is a geneololgy sight. I really like unjury and nectaur protiens. I am a chocolate lover but can't seem to be able to like the chocolate Protein powders that need to be mixed. So with the Unjury I use the strawberry and unflavored one. With the Nectaur brand I really like a whole slew of their fruit flavored Proteins. I mix my Proteins with zero vitiman Water using just half the bottle. (10 oz.) They need to be mixed at room temperature and then if they can sit for 5 min. you can either put ice in the bottle or refridegerate it. This helps to avoid clumping. Use within 48 hours of mixing. I also have a premeir Protein for my Breakfast most days. These are already to go (called RTD) and I like the choclate with this one so haven't tried their vanilla. They might have a strawberry out too. (?)

Hope this helps.

I do like the Unjury choc splendor - I use Fairlife milk, and add half a tsp of PB powder. the shake tastes like a reeses.

My first Protein purchase was fuzzy navel Syntrax Protein Powder from Amazon which has about 23grams per scoop. Wasn't really too in love with it at 1st but I was able to tolerate it While working out. I mix with ice cubes and 8-13 ozs of cold Water. I've concluded anything can be tolerated if really thirsty. Since being home Wednesday after having vsg I've begun drinking Premier Protein strawberries and cream. I'm not a fan of anything milky at all but it does have 30grams of Protein in 1 container so I had to try since the Dr kept pushing the fact I need to get my protein in. I must say it's pretty good. I bought the chocolate and vanilla flavors as well but haven't gotten that far yet. I've also tried Twisted cherry Syntrax nectar and I loved it. Hope this helps!

I saw all the posts about Genepro- I've heard this might be kind of a "scam" with fancy wording that may only deliver about 10g of Protein instead of 30. If everyone's healthy and feeling good then I guess it's alright, I'd just be careful.

In order to substain weight loss success for long term we have to learn healthy interaction with food... GENEPRO isn't food.< /p>

I applied at Insure nutrition. They have a website. The one thing is, you need to follow up with them after their initial call. They will call your insurance and do all the leg work. But are pretty slow at following up. I called many times to see if my surgeon signed the scripts my insurance covered, ( the scar cream and Vit D ) then they include the shakes for free.

But! If you seem to get no where calling and checking up on your status, call and ask for the manager! And explain your frustration. That's what I did, and magically I got my shakes in a week lol

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I had about 6 months between deciding to do surgery and getting scheduled. I came across the book The Pound of Cure by Dr. Matthew Weiner, a bariatric surgeon in Arizona, and started to implement some of the changes he recommended (and lost 13 lbs in the process without ever feeling deprived). The book is very simple, and the focus is on whole, plant based foods, but within reason. It's not an all or nothing approach, or going vegan or something, but focuses on improvement and aiming for getting it right 80-90% of the time. His suggestions are divided into 12 sections that you can tackle over time, perhaps one per month for a year if a person is just trying to improve nutrition and build good habits. They range from things like cutting out artificial sweetener or eating more beans to eating a pound of vegetables per day. I found it really effective pre-surgery and it's an eating style I will be working to get back to as I am further out from surgery and have more capacity. Small changes you can sustain will do the most for building good habits for life.

That sounds awesome. I'll have to check that out thanks!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
