My surgeon said to make sure to have someone drive me home (nodriving for 10 days,) If your sisters are so worried maybe they could take turns coming to you!

Wow...what a wide variety of opinions and experiences. I am going to go it alone, but have set up friends, and cousins who live in the area (my sisters live an hour or more away depending on traffic)

Hey Everyone. I just learned of this forum. Great to be here. I am having my sleeve surgery on Tuesday (Aug 5th). I am single, live alone, have a small dog. The doctor said there was no issue with my coming home alone after surgery, and that I could even walk the dog (only a short distance to start). My sisters are all up in arms and want me go to one of their homes for the first week after surgery. I really just want to be at my own home. Looking for some input to help alleviate my sisters' concerns.
