Try walking... it may be gas from the surgery.

I took a stool softener last night. I wonder if that could have caused this? Maybe it made me gassy and it traveled up there.

If you're worried, call your doc.

My doc said that pain in your left shoulder is normal (one of his nurses said that's where the gas can settle) - for me it was uncomfortable, but not unbearable. Walking was the only thing that helped. It went away after the first week.

If it's gas within your intestinal tract, I've read that Gas-X Strips helped them. Good luck.

It does sound like gas pain. Try Gas-X strips, they do help relieve the pain. Nothing to be worried about, it's normal after surgery. Like the others have said also, walking helps. Good luck.

I agree with everyone, if you are concerned call your doctor. I had the gas pains in my left shoulder for over a week. I found that using a heating pad helped.

Sounds like gas from inflating your abdomen. Gas x is only for intestinal gas so it won't help. I had terrible pain in my shoulder. Try the following: heating pad really helps, walk around as much as possible as it seems to break it up, bend over a chair and swing your left arm....seems to help. Mine lasted until day 6 and got worse at the end of the day. Keep moving and soon it will be gone.

I agree with "newu68". I had bad left shoulder pain as well from the left over air. Heating pads really helped with the gas, as well as the walking. The constant pressure lasted almost a good two weeks for me, and I would feel a slight pressure when I would workout (and ONLY when I worked out) about 4-5 weeks after that.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
