I have been a practitioner for a long time and took precepts about ten years ago. Do I have any company here?

I took the bodhisattva vows in 1991 with the Dali Lama. I've been practicing for a long time as well.

I have trying to figure out my spiritual side for a while now. I have found that Buddhism is probably closer to my feelings than anything else tho I'm not practicing anything right now. It's a lovely way to look at life.

Well the slow eating sure helps me remember to be mindful. Very different from a normal Zen meal, where fast eating is encouraged.
