12 Weeks Post Op

I am 12 weeks post op today (Sleeved 4/9). I had a rough time in the beginning (had to go back in for emergence surgery 5/12), but now I am 100%. Running and walking daily. I have so much energy. Always have to be on the go. I thought I would post a picture of me taken about 2 weeks ago. I am very pleased with the success thus far. Good luck everyone.post-213164-0-38217400-1404311653_thumb.jpg

I just wanted to check in with everyone and see how you are all doing?

Sleeved 4/8. Down 59 pounds and feeling fantastic. I'm not getting in exactly all the protein I need but it's a work in progress. I'm able to drink lots of water now and happy cause I was a huge water drinker before but have just recently begun to like it again. Working out every am and have the energy to do it despite how little we all eat. How is everyone else doing? It's tough some days. I still crave pizza and bread. But I don't eat it.

Congrats!!

It's my third day post op. I'm having nausea and cramps. No problems swallowing though. All my Vitamins and meds go down fine.

The thought of food makes me sick. I couldn't drink the Isopure clear....money down the drain. It smelled and tasted too sweet. My coordinator told me to drink a small glass a skim milk with a teaspoon of Peanut Butter.... it helped the nausea. I am able to drink the Premier Protein shakes....a sip at a time. I can drink Water if it's flavored with Crystal Lite. I'm having to take the meds for nausea and cramping so I'm not totally alert, but I am still getting up walking and using my spirometer. I will be glad when the sickness goes away. I had a very easy surgery so I knew there would be a bump in the road somewhere :)
