4th day Post-op. Feeling really dizzy, FEEDBACK please

Today is day 4 postop. I woke up feeling light headed and dizzy. The room was seriously spinning. Also, I have been running low grade fevers. Has this happened to anybody out there? Maybe because I am so low on calories and food?? Feedback would be grately appreciated.

Shel

S+5 here. That does not sound normal.

Are you having trouble getting in the Protein and Water?. I am still struggling with getting in two Protein shakes a day. Finally made it today and it seems to help with my energy level. Water was a struggle until I realized I could take more than 1 OZ of water at a time. I'm still not as hydrated as I would like, but am getting better.

Any signs of fever shortly post op is not a good thing. call your doctor and chances are they will want you to come in! Dehydration does not lead to a fever, dizzy yes fever no.. please call your doc!!

fluids as much as possible.

if it does not subside .. have your iron levels checked! you may need to double up on iron supplements if needed.
