May 28-31st Sleeve Week!

Surgery week folks! Today our 27s go through surgery and we will keep this thread going for a week while we all get sleeved!

It's FINALLY arrived, I don't know about you, but I am excited, anxious, nervous and did I say excited? I am SOOO over trying to figure out the next diet to do that will rebound in a few months. At last I have a tool that will WORK forever!

Get your lip balm and Gas-x strips ready and I heard a heating pad can be awesome for stubborn gasses in your back and shoulders the first few days, can't hurt to take it with you! If you are in a big busy hospital and might have to share a room, bring ear plugs and an eye mask... you may not need it but better to have it if you do. Don't forget to get up walking as soon as possible, it helps the gas go away. Excited to see how everyone does!

Hey guys, I was sleeved this am. Im feeling alright, I've got 3 incisions (one with a drain) I'm dermabonded- no stitches or staples. I do feel a bit nauseous, but I was just wheeled up to my room and that may have contributed to that some.

Hi everyone.. I was sleeved on May 6th and I'm doing pretty good. I can't drink protein shakes cause it goes in and right out the other (sorry TMI) but it happens until your body adjust to everything. So I'm stuck eating chicken and fish already to get my proteins and doing well...I do have an issue that I have asked my doctor about some nerve pain right at my belly button area. It is like a burning pinching pain when I laugh or move wrong. Just wondering if anyone else had this..

Wow congrats on the sleevers. My surgery is Friday May 30th and I was so nervous. Seeing sleevers up and posting is inspiring. I hope to be up and out as soon as possible.

Yay so glad some of the sleevers are feeling good and done!! This gives me great inspiration for tomorrow! Keep the advice coming! So excited!

Good luck to you guys who are having it done.. You guys are going to do great keep us posted ... ????

Doing good pain not to bad if you brace yourself. It actually feels better to walk. Ice chips for me. Very easy to swallow. On patient controlled pump for pain medication. No waiting! Yeah! Ice on left side where drain is helps. Burping with ice chips, so gas it coming up for me! Glad to see the 27's doing great and posting.

Apparently my Breast was hiding and incision. 4 and a drain

Congrats 27's!

Good Luck 28's!

Wishing everyone well.

Im on the 29th trying to get well from this cold ASAP

Anyone else having nightmares?

2 more day... Can't wait!

Sandi
