HELP, HELP, HELP!!!!!!!! I GOT MY SECOND FILL YESTERDAY. I HAVE A 4CC BAND AND I WENT FROM 1.7CC TO 3.1CC. I CAN'T EVEN SWALLOW Water TODAY. THERE IS SO MUCH PAIN:cry . I AM SO AFRAID I NEED TO HAVE SOME Fluid REMOVED BUT I LIVED 100 MILES FROM THE DR. I CALLED THE DR. TODAY AND THEY SAID TO GIVE IT A COUPLE OF DAYS, BUT WITH THE WEEKEND COMING I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. WILL THIS GET ANY BETTER IN A COUPLE OF DAYS???? I HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO DRINK AROUND 5 OZ. OF Water ALL DAY TODAY ( AND I AM REALLY REALLY TRYING).

I know when ever I get a fill it irritates my band area from it going tighter. So the next day I am usually swollen along with the fill and can't hardley get anything down. Just sip as much as you can like a Protein Drink mixed with some hot Water to get some nutrients. Sip warm tea all day and in a couple of days it might open up. If by Monday you still cannot get anything down then yes you will need to get just a little removed. Did you get it done with Floro so you could see if liquids were going down? That seems like a big fill for your band. Be careful to make sure you don't get so weak that when you stand up you want to pass out. Just concentrate on getting some nutrients in even if you have to go to the Vitamin Shop to get something to put in threw liquid drops in your tea for Vitamins. I hope your better soon.

That seems like a huge fill to me. I haven't been banded long enough to give advice. I know that with my second fill, I told him to be aggresive. I had

1.25 and he put in 2.5. He gave me Water to drink and I could feel it not going down, so I had him take out the .5. Right now I am afraid to get another fill, because food gets stuck so often.

I have been reading and reading about fills, and I have never heard of anyone getting that much put in on their 2nd fill.

P.S. Vikki you have 4.0 cc's? Do you know what size your band is?

You need to get some of that Fluid taken out ASAP. I just had this happen to me with my first fill and my doctor said it doesn't usually get better, just worse and can lead to a bigger problem... like having to have it all removed to let your stomach rest. So don't let you stomach get too irritated. If you cannot swallow fluid now then you are too tight. Plus that seems like a huge fill! I just got my fill reduced by half today and am doing much better. Instant relief. Good luck.;)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
