I went to true results for my initial consultation but found a surgeon I better fit with closer to seabrook where I live. I really liked them though. They were very nice on my initial consultation. My sleeve is June 11th and I'm a little terrified and A LOT excited! Who is your surgeon? Dr. Hollis? I heard good things about him!

I had surgery in July 2013 with Dr ferrari with memorial herman houston. Doing well over 100 pounds down. Good luck all.

I had my surgery June the 9th I'm still in liquid diet and I'm been able to drink all my water but I feel hungry :( is anybody feeling hungry in their 5th day of surgery?? I feel bad because I heard everybody saying they don't feel hungry after surgery

I'm hungry too, but its better than it was pre-surgery,

I was sleeved April 30,2014 in the Woodlands. I am down 50 lbs total. I remember being less than a wk out and was concerned about hunger. Looking back I believe it was more acid than actual hunger. I am on Prevacid and will continue on it for at least 6 months; as I had Hietal Hernia repair with surgery and acid reflux for years pre surgery. I have very little hunger now. By the time I get my tiny meals, protein and water in, I'm relieved to stop eating and drinking at the day's end.

I went to True Results. Dr Hollis did my sleeve. He was good. I am 2 months out today and have had very little problems, a few stalls, but its because I don't get enough food.

My only complaint. Not really a complaint because I could ask, all I got was a folder with 4 pages in it telling me what to eat for 4 weeks after surgery. Because I was self pay they do not care. I have been to Dr Hollis office twice and talked to his nurse all she will tell me is NO carbs. It is a little frustrating.

I am happy I did it.

I am in Lake Jackson, south of Houston.

I'm in Missouri City, having my surgery August 29th...conversion from this broken band to sleeve. My surgeon is Dr. Ponce de Leon and I'll be at Memorial Herman @ Memorial City. I'm super excited and nervous...just ready to be healthy again

Welcome! Good luck! I just had mine June 11th and have had very very few complaints! Down 20lbs post surgery and 35lbs overall. Let us know if we can answer any questions.

Congrats on your surgery and great post-op loss Shiner86!! I am in Dickinson/League City! Great to see some locals in the house! I was sleeved in September 2011 and am hopping back on here for a while as I work through some maintenance issues.. The struggle is real. LOL.

Hi all, I will be having my surgery July 31st. I am also in the Houston area. I look forward to reading about all of you! I decided to go with Dr. Carlos Ferrari.
