  2. I haven't had a continuous period like that, but I have been getting it twice a month like clockwork. My surgeon's office said the first 6 months toootally wack out your hormones, so any sort of weirdness is normal. My weirdness has persisted past 6 months, and my gyno thinks it's because I restarted BC. I got off of it a month before surgery and two months after because of the increased blood clot risk. Still haven't normalized, and if it continues, she'll want me to switch to another level. Your hormones really change dramatically.. Wow twice a month, I don't know which is worse going on 12 days or twice a month. Hopefully these will return to normal soon.
  3. I was sleeved on May 19th, my TOM came a week left and has not left yet!!!???? Going on 12 days now, very light but 12 days!!! Anyone experience this?
  4. Just had my dr apt last week, I'm 3 wks post op today. Dr said I can exercise now just take it easy if it hurts don't do it...LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!
  5. Sleeve on Monday May 19th, from pre-op to now down 31lbs . Been back at work for over a week now, back was really bothering me at first. I think due to having to sit up straight all day, it still is bothering me but not as much. However I go for my follow up appt today and will let the dr know.
  6. Sleeved May 19th, Dr. Sherman Yu (Houston, TX)
  7. I'm having a hard time with Milk and yogurt at the moment, upsetting my stomach. 2wks post.
  8. Saturday was my first scrambled egg, Eggs are approved for me in the pureed stage. I did almost eat the whole egg, however about 15 mins afterwards I could tell I ate to much. Have to remember to eat slower!!!
  9. You can shower, just let the water run down your stomach. Glue came off about 2 wks later for me, healed great!!!
  10. Thank you everyone for the advice and ideas, much appreciated!
  11. I’m coming up on my 2 wks post op, going from full liquids to pureed foods and looking for tasty food ideas. I have eaten beans smashed up already, does the pureed food truly need to pureed to baby food consistency?
  12. May 19th including pre-op down 25lbs!!! Walking in my neighborhood 2 blocks, increasing each day.

  14. I'm 9 days post op and it took me a week, Milk of Magnesia worked for me alsoo. Try not to strain, I think I may have and my stomach was sore right above my belly button for two days now. I wonder if this is common, if any one knows?
  15. I'm 9 days post and I am too feeling hungry!!!! I have not been able to get my Protein drink down, but trying to force it down hopefully getting more protein will help.
  16. I’m 9 days post op, and still having difficulty getting in the correct amount of fluids. Crystal light pink lemonade and sugar free popsicles have become new best friends. I have been able to drink one whole protein shake so far, however it has taken me all day to get it down.
