11 days post op. Help me!

I'm 11 days post op and still feel like I'm always hungry. I've cheated and had a few solids but I'm afraid of the damage it may cause. Any suggestions?

Hang in there..follow what your doctor tells you to do..When you start eating more solid foods...This will make a big difference.. ( :

Please don't eat things you aren't supposed to, it could hurt your stomach and cause serious problems. I know you feel like you are hungry but you really aren't. At this stage, if you feel you have to have something eat a Jello or soft scrambled egg or even some apple sauce. It will make you feel full and make you feel like you are getting real food. But try to stick to the Soups and it will be over in a few days. You will be able to start eating pureed food in a few days and it will take a couple of weeks on that to get your stomach used to semi solid food. If you stick to the plan you will lose more weight and your stomach will heal like its supposed to. You can do this. I know it seems hard but the rest of us did it and we know you can too. Keep telling yourself how important it is to stay on the plan, It will determine your later successes. Good luck and take it one day at a time.

Mistymae,

are you getting enough Protein? Because protein is what makes you feel full. It also provides the building blocks needed for every cell in your body. When you have your protein, wait 30 min before you drink, so that you will feel full. You can do it; one hour, meal, day at a time.

Mistymae, how about an update. How are you feeling now? Are you on your pureed foods now? Can you feel a difference in how you feel. You have to train your body about the full feeling. Sometimes you just need to drink fluids and you will get over the full feeling. Other times you just have to fight the urge. Hope you are feeling better and the struggle is getting easier.

Yes, doing so much better. Thank you so checking in! I feel full now but have noticed no weight loss since I started pureed food. : (

I'm 9 days post and I am too feeling hungry!!!! I have not been able to get my Protein drink down, but trying to force it down hopefully getting more protein will help.

Before surgery I had days where I was more hungry then others. I'm 9 weeks post sleeve today I'm not hungry at all. But other days i have been hungry . If I'm still hungry I just eat a little more protein.
