Of course there is the typical post op recovery, but how long does it take until you feel "normal" again?

3 months for me

Normal!!!! now thats a loaded question.. Who is normal??

7 weeks for me. I really felt out of sorts and wondered why everyone else felt so great, I thought by 6 weeks but it didn't really click till 7 weeks. I am still waiting for that big burst of energy!

I felt pretty normal at about 3-4 wks. I had a rought recovery and the 1st 12 days I felt like Id been hit by a truck. Kept checking out the posts of those who ran a marathon 2 days after suregry (an exageration, of course) wondering why I couldn't be that lucky.

Good luck

4 weeks.

4 weeks for me.

9 weeks. 5 -6 months before i could actually drink a glass of water or cup of tea without feeling like i swallowed a cow.

My four week anniversary is tomorrow. Today I actually felt normal for most of the day. I can actually take some what normal drinks of liquid instead of tiny sips.

. 2 weeks!! I am 2 weeks yesterday and I hardly feel like I has the surgery. Incisions are about 90 percent heeled! Some take longer each day is better!! Goodluck and congrats!

I felt normal by day 3 with the exception of bein tired and having to take naps, after a week I was totally back to normal!! Hope you feel better soon!!

I'm 3 weeks today and feel about 60% normal.

I'm 12 days out today and I have to say I'm 90% better (back to "normal").

I cannot believe how good I feel - and I'm very thankful!
