Boudoir Photos

Figured the powder Room was a good place for this....

As a WTG gift to myself, I've scheduled a boudoir photo session next week with a really amazing photographer. I've seen many women on this site list this as a reward for themselves-- I thought this was a brilliant idea... Something to make you feel beautiful and sexy--- but now I just feel nervous. haha. I'm wondering how Ill explain that I don't want to accentuate my batwings or loose skin??? lol

And now I've been practicing my "sexy face"... Yeah, not so sexy. lol

Good luck to me!

My wanna-be sexy face...

Seriously, taking any suggestions. Haha

Maybe I'll just smile.

Hmm maybe try parting your lips -- just ever so slightly? :)

If you feel sexy, it will show through the lens. As far as your imperfect areas.... let the photographer know. He/she will work around it.

Good luck and enjoy! :)

Wow, you are gorgeous! You need to update your profile pic. I think a smile is sexy, especially is you'll be wearing nothing but.... teehee

you look beautiful and embrace your problem areas you worked hard to get to this point!! good luck

Love this!

I'm a photographer, and my suggestion is to be YOU. The lens does not lie. If your photographer is a good one, he/she will direct you. Don't worry, enjoy it. Good luck!!

Thank you! :)

I've been a portrait photographer for years and I say absolutely do it!

Maybe see if you can grab a cup of coffee with your photographer before the shoot to discuss any concerns you might have. Just be honest about what worries you might have then talk about what looks you want to go for. Some women also find it's easier to have a female photographer for boudoir too.

Good luck! I'm sure you will rock it. The best thing you can wear is confidence.

I did this a month or so ago. It was fun and the pictures turned out beautiful. I did tell the photographer I did not want a close up or any kind of photo that would show my "wings". It all turned out good. I was really uncomfortable during the session but the photographer was really good at putting me at ease. I recommend this to anyone!

Thanks y'all!

My shoot is in just a couple hours and I'm more excited than nervous... Which is great! I just plan on having fun now. :)

Eek!

Silly question

I've always wanted to surprise my husband with these but where do you put it???

I plan on doing the photoshoot and will post in his closet, behind the door. Kids never go in there, much less close the door. :0)

Anyone willing to post theirs?
