  1. Hi! I was sleeved April 7th of this year. I took off six weeks as per my dr. I told the kids a few days before my last day. I told them I would be out for surgery. They were so relieved when I returned. They and their parents didn't know the details of my surgery. The parents wished me well and I had no complaints. Good luck.
  2. Hi all! I was sleeved April 7 so it's been about four months. I'm down 67 lbs and am thrilled with the results so far. Within the past week or so I've been nauseated and very tired. I've been getting my vitamins and most of my protein. I've been eating crackers to calm my stomach. I'm nauseated if I eat or don't eat. Thoughts?
  3. I live on unjury chocolate splendor. Can't handle anything else.
  4. I got preg on nuvaring. Got my tubes tied after that!

  10. Unjury unflavored can be added to anything.
  11. I'm doing unjury chocolate splendor with skim milk and a spoon of peanut butter. Plus ice and put it in the nutribullet. Perfect.
  12. I was sleeved 4/7/14 and I have major head hunger. I want a hoagie very badly. I also have physical hunger but my protein shake takes care of that. I've been nursing my 12 oz shake for a few hours now.
  13. Good luck. I wish I had gotten my sleeve at 18 instead of 32.
  14. Feeling good. Just over two weeks post op. Still figuring out what my sleeve likes and doesn't like.
  15. In the dresser drawer.
  16. I packed all that too and didn't use it! I only needed the stretchy outfit to go home in. I felt so nauseous that I didn't even use my phone! I also used a hair tie. But it's better to be over prepared. Good luck!!!
  17. I agree with wawa. They have a lot of choices. Hummus and carrots. Mmmmm
  18. I work in the inner city too and boy they can come up with some creative names!! I'm still out sick but am looking forward to the positive reactions
  19. Sip and walk. Repeat. This too shall pass. Thinking of you.
  20. It all depends on how you react. I needed about two days help.
  21. The hosp sold me the bariatric advantage. A huge sack of it for $100+. Latte flavor What a waste.
  22. Maybe this is just a rant, but I hate my protein shakes. I spent all of this money on the shakes at the hospital told me I had to get. They are absolutely disgusting. Make me wanna vomit. Spend $$$$$ and it's wasted. No trial packs available. Just BAM here's this disgusting "latte" stuff Ok I feel better. I've looked into unjury shakes and have heard good reviews. Any ideas there? I was so excited to finally be able to start my protein shakes after ten days of clear liquid and they SUCK.cry me a river I know.
  23. I may sound like a teen magazine advice columnist buuuuuuuut if you can't be open with them without fear of ridicule, maybe they aren't the best friends to have around. I understand your feelings, though. You do what's right for you and don't worry what others think.
