vitamin called vitex

Recommended Posts

I was banded Dec 2013 and have lost 43 pounds. I have Pcos and periods are crazy. I finally had one last month and of course this month its no where to be found. I don't want to get pregnant yet but I did read up on a herbal supplement known to naturally help woman in any hormone state. For us woman with Pcos it can help with our cycle Hair growth cysts ovulation and among many things help us to produce progestone naturally. I figured I would give it a shot in helping me with my symptoms and hopefully get me somewhat regular. I wondered if anyone else has taken or heard of this supplement. I will let y'all know how it goes reply if you are familiar to this herbal Vitamin hope it helps thanx

I have PCOS and would love to hear if this works. I have been irregular for years. I am not looking to get pregnant soon due to just getting banded over 5 weeks ago. Good luck and keep us updated.

I would be curious to know if it works also. I went thru 2 years of agressive ivf treatments and still have no kids. Eventually I would like to try again (not using ivf, that's when I put on most of my weight) but I'm still not regular after loosing over 100 pounds. Let us know how it worked out. Best of luck to you :)

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
