While most people would not think of Monterey, Mexico as the first place to choose for lap band surgery, I can tell you that I am certainly glad that I did. Even though I was a little nervous and slightly apprehensive about going to Mexico to have my surgery performed all of my fears were laid to rest when I arrived at the clinic. grupo endo bariatrico had a state of the art facility that would rival (and in some cases surpass) entire clinic was outfitted with state of the art equipment and was blended into the most comfortable of surroundings.

I would like to share with anyone considering becoming a client of Dr Arturo Rodriguez

In a day and age when most professionals offer up customer service and customer satisfaction as lip service it is a great feeling to find a doctor and staff who know the true meaning of customer service. I am accustomed to receiving the highest level of service in all of my endeavors. Recently I was more than pleasantly surprised to learn that there is a level of customer service out there that even exceeded my expectations. Dr. Arturo Rodriguez and his wonderful assistants Patty and Letty provided me with the most stellar service I have ever received. Their level of client care and satisfaction was superior to many of the 5 star resorts I have been a guest at. Never once during my visit to Dr. Rodriguez did I want for anything. I was completely pampered. From being picked up at the airport, with my name heal high. I felt like a star. Having Letty take me shopping, to the follow up visit I received at my hotel. I couldn't ask for anything more. I truly was treated like a V.I.P. every moment of my stay. Mere words cannot express how elated I was with the level of treatment, care, and humanity that I received from Dr. Rodriguez. . I like to work with only the best and I consider Dr. Arturo Rodriguez and his staff to be the best. They have earned a client for life.

Sincerely,

Kimberly Morris

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
