Always follow your surgeons plan. Tell the NUT to F- off. Sorry, can you tell I'm not a fan of NUTs?? Increasing my B12 (surgeons recommendations) helped with that lightheaded feeling after surgery

The nutritionist and the surgeon have much different views. If you're concerned, called your surgeon. If the nutritionist is part of the surgeon's practice, then I would definitely call the surgeon

I had my 2nd post op appointment today and it was with a NUT and she was upset with me, she said I was losing too much weight too fast. Since my last appointment which was about a week after my surgery I had lost 20 pounds. She said I needed to eat more, that I wasn't eating enough and that is why I'm losing too much weight. This is insane, I have never had anyone tell me that. I feel great for the most part and I feel like I'm eating enough. I eat 3 to 4 small meals a day and I'm getting in anywhere from 500 to 700 calories a day, when I feel satisfied I stop eating, even if I am not finished with my meal. Before surgery I would eat until I felt stuffed, I'm trying hard not to do that anymore. I am only (almost) 7 weeks out from surgery. Luckily I don't need to see her next month when I go back, I see a medical doctor. When I go for my 3 month visit, who do I see? Please tell me NOT a NUT!!
Oh and she told me the reason for me feeling light headed when I get out of the tub is because I'm not getting enough Water. I thought I was getting in plenty of water but I'm going to work on trying to get more in and see if that helps at all.
