It's been 5 days since I was banded and the gas is still there and hurts very bad. I have been taking gas x strips it does help but not completely.

Try gentle stretches, roll your torso to one side and the other (gently, slowly, carefully, stopping if it hurts, of course) bending slowly foreword and back a bit... These moves may help to dislodge

I was banded at about 7 this morning. I feel great. Was able to hold down my liquids, walked the halls, and went to the bathroom by myself. The only thing that is bothering me is this awful gas pain! It hurts in my stomach, shoulder, and side...can someone tell me what I can do to release/relieve the gas besides walking? The nurse told me to take gas x tomorrow after I'm released.
Thanks,
