Y'all stay strong...you can & will defeat this fat...this surgery gives you more success than anything I ever dreamed. Don't get me wrong, you have to work hard (protein, ounces, exercise), but it just gives you that missing piece that we've all been searching for. It's awesome!

Well had surgery yesterday morning. My stomach feels fine todavia but the gas and air in my stomach and shoulders is amost unbearable. Other than that I'm a little wobbly on my feet

. Great news, glad you are doing well. From all the posts I've read, walking and raising your arms above your head seems to be everyone's suggestion for the gas.

Hmj- when is your surgery??

My surgery is February 4th. I went to see my pcp, nutrition and the psychiatrist yesterday! All went well and I'm clear for surgery. Registration on the 23rd!

I got to see my surgeon for a few mins yesterday and he remembered me and visited with me for a bit...that put me at ease a bit. :)

I just need to keep my fears in check !

Congrats kcamp, you'll do great!!

Thanks everyone, your support has helped a great deal. This website is a blessing! I'll keep you posted.

Monday is coming fast! I have to check in at 11 am. This is getting so real. My mother in law will be staying with me because my husband is deployed right now but she is 3 1/3 years out from her bypass. I am sure that I'll be in good hands. Everyone is being super supportive.

Good luck to everyone who is having surgery on Monday! You'll do great!

My surgery is scheduled for January 28th. I had my pre-op appointment last thursday and all tests done, including EKG and have been clear. Now just waiting for the 28th. I'm excited...but, scared at the same time. :)
