I'm right there with y'all & feel like I'm going to lose my mind. I feel like a failure again. I want to get in bed & pull the covers over me & disappear.

We had sex 2 days after surgery...it's all about finding the right positions & we found plenty...lol. My doctor said I could have sex as soon as I felt like it...so of course we did

Sex wasn't painful for me after surgery...we just were creative with our positions

I'm 7 weeks out & already down a shoe size. Thank God I kept some of my smaller sizes

Y'all stay strong...you can & will defeat this fat...this surgery gives you more success than anything I ever dreamed. Don't get me wrong, you have to work hard (protein, ounces, exercise), but it just gives you that missing piece that we've all been searching for. It's awesome!

I crave water more than I ever have & all I drank before was water. I also thought I would want more sweet types of protein, but have found salty broths, cream soups, blended soups, etc., have been my favorites. I'm on day 5 post op & I haven't had to take anything for the pain since I got home...I am only sore, never in pain. That liquid pain med was so awful tasting I want to vomit just thinking of it. I haven't had any trouble sleeping since I got home...I use soft pillows & a body pillow & I sleep at least 8 hours. I've truly been very blessed & hope you all have as good an experience as I have had. Blessings to all.

The 64 oz includes all liquids you take in...including whatever you choose to mix your protein drinks (water, milk, soy milk, almond milk, etc.)...at least that's what doctor said.

I felt like I wanted to back out when I got to the hospital for my surgery on Friday...I thought all the thoughts y'all are expressing & more...I guess it all came down to if I want to live or die & I want to LIVE! Yes, you will still think about the favorite foods you gave up, but that's as far as your new tummy will let you go. It's hard enough to just get down enough protein & fluids in a day. The new you will be fuller faster & satisfied very easily. It's amazing & I feel so blessed to have been given this second chance at life.

So awesome that your surgery went well & you r feeling pretty good...it can only get better from here. I'll be joining you tomorrow...I'm excited/nervous.

It gives me some more variety to look forward to. I didn't know they had so many flavors

I wish no one knew because I have enough to deal with as it is, but when even one other person knows & that person is family, others will find out...no matter what. I just wanted a little time to figure things out & I can't even get that. It kind of sucks.

Definitely going to have to get me some sugar free popsicles...I didn't even think about them. Thanks for the advice!

I have great faith in my surgeon, however I don't seem to have much faith in myself. I've failed at everything I've tried in regards to losing weight for over 13 years...I know this is my last chance. I've done everything to prepare for the best outcomes, I'm just worried I will always be trapped in this fat suit. My surgery is Friday (Jan 10th). Could use some friends/support...

My surgery is scheduled for January 10th @ 1:30PM. I'm excited/nervous.
