That is what I believe I will do too I can say I am so excited to have my surgery in May having nice weather and being outside will only help. I keep telling my kids this summer we are doing so many outside activities!! I want to walk on the bike path.. And work in the garden.. I hope as each pound leaves the more strength I get! My youngest keeps talking about her trampoline so hopefully in the fall I will get to jump on it with her!! Wow that will be fun..

I had my Gastric Bypass surgery on January 15, 2014, and I had a lot of bumps to deal with, first, because I had a Lapband in April 15, 2013, and then had it removed in December 2013, due to complications, so then jumped to Gastric Bypass because of Lapband I had scare tissue which made any kind of liquid drinking very difficult so then I was back in the hospital for another surgery to remove scare tissue. There several trips that landed me in the hospital and I had to stay there for five to six days for dehydration and not eating as well, but now knock on wood I am doing a lot better just that no matter how I mix the Protein Drink with or milk I can't get it down it just makes me sick to my stomach any suggestions on how I can drink 60 grams of Protein a day, thanks in advance:)

If you cant keep Protein Shakes down, is it possible you're drinking too fast? I drink a 1oz shot glass every 15 minutes or so and even that feels too fast sometimes. Also make sure your shake is fewer than 6 grams of sugar per serving. Other ways you can drink your Protein is to blend dannon light n fit GREEK yogurt with Water. Or, GNC makes a fruity Protein Drink called Isopure. I'm in no way an expert but when I read you cant keep anything down, I felt sad for you. I really hope you can find a solution.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
