I haven't completely proven this to my satisfaction, but going no carb (less than 20 grams/day) for 7 days "sometimes" seems to kick start my weight loss again.

If you are not exercising, start. If you are exercising step up the intensity. If you do 3 days per week, try 4 days. If you only do cardio, add strength training.

The diet is likely to remain high Protein, low carb...maybe you need leaner Protein? Oh, and if you don't drink at least 64 oz. of Water per day, start. If you do get this much Water per day, add a cup each day to see if you can hit 80 oz. eventually. Water plays an incredibly huge role in successful weight loss. Good luck!

2 months ago I was working out all the time, got prego and kinda stopped was to tired all the time then I miscarried, so I am just now going to start getting back to working out. My eating has been crap since the miscarrage but I only gain 6lbs part of that was during the pregnacy, I am out of my funk now so getting back to the right eating. just seems like my body doesnt want to let go again,. kinda feeling like I was before the surgery that nothing I do is going to work. and the 100lbs is all I was ment to lose and I dont like that, I really want to lose the rest. think I am going to try going back to just my Soups and Protein Bars and see how that goes

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
