My Doc allowed me cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, yogurt,

Skim milk, and cream of wheat. After I got home and was on " full liquids"

i'm struggling really bad with this too, i'm so sick of broth, cream of wheat and yogurt. and the protein shakes.. ugh! the thought of them all makes my (little) stomach turn! i have my first post-op appointment tomorrow so i'm going to ask what else i can have. i'm hoping she says yes to some mashed potatoes thinned with chicken broth, i don't know what else to do!

I was allowed unsweetened almond milk ( vanilla) helped flavor shakes and added calories I needed, SF jello, decaf tea, isopure, SF pudding, proti gel, any SF drink flavorings like crystal light, Gatorade zero. Hang in there you will get through it.

Thanks for some of the ideas. I have been trying to get protein with every meal, but I am thinking I should back off of it and just get through the liquid stage and have jello or non protein soup and maybe try Isopure. My doctor won't let me have cream of wheat, cottage cheese, ricotta, or yogurt until my 3rd week.

I went to whole foods yesterday and got some of there traditional butternut squash soup. One cup has 8g of protein. It's really good. Yoplait makes a Greek blended yogurt which is good. The Tangerine has no piece it it. Also Chobanis key lime and orange vanilla has no pieces in them and they are good too.
