  1. I was sleeved on the 14th. It helps to write done, what your eating. My nut had me just track my protein and my liquids. I usually have 2 Chobani Greek yogurts a day, a protein shake with 2 scoops and then like cream of wheat or soup for dinner. I'm on soft food/liquids for 5 weeks. I love whole foods butternut squash soup, 1 cup had 8 grams of protein. I hope this helps!

  3. No complications. I felt great by the 3rd day. I was released the next day. Now that I'm healing my incisions are kind of itchy but that's it. I'm 10 days post-op. Compared to my c-section this was a breeze
  4. I went to whole foods yesterday and got some of there traditional butternut squash soup. One cup has 8g of protein. It's really good. Yoplait makes a Greek blended yogurt which is good. The Tangerine has no piece it it. Also Chobanis key lime and orange vanilla has no pieces in them and they are good too.
  5. Call your Dr. They should be able to give you something for the nausea. Hang in there!
  6. The itch has been driving me crazy too! I was sleeved on 10/14. I have glue and steri strips. I was just itching around them. I go to the Dr today.
  7. I was sleeved by Dr Nepomnashy on the 14th. Everything went perfect and I was able to go home the next day. Good luck
  8. Everybody is different. I felt awful on Saturday. I went to target and toys r us and when I came home, I crashed. I felt like I was dead. I think that walking is giving me more energy. I can't drink water at all! I have been drinking decafe tea with skim milk or powerade zero. Today I got some passion tea from Starbucks and loved that. I think everybody heals differently. I had a csection that was the worst and my attitude was that nothing could have been worse than that. Please let me know if I can give you any other ideas. You just have try different stuff and see what works for you. Are you taking vitamins?? I'm taking bariatric fusion 4 times a day.
  9. I had my surgery October 14th. I'm a week post-op and feel great. I'm from Massachusetts and a single parent to a 6 year old little boy.

  11. Try other protein powders. There has to be something you like or get a flavorless.
  12. For some reason I can't drink water. I have resorted to deface tea and powerade zero. The water bother my stomach. I am also not good at drinking slow. I have to work on that.
  13. I was just sleeved last Monday the 14th and just had my first BM today. I took laxatives on Friday and it did nothing. I started drinking v8 with fiber. Last night I took a stole softener and fiber pill and this morning I went! Just have to figure out what works for you. We are really not eating anything and I have trouble drinking wAter so I have been trying other things that work! Decafe tea and power aide zero.
  14. I was sleeved on Monday. I feel fine when I'm at home. Doing small things cooking and cleaning. Today I went out shopping and I was wiped out after. I needed that reality check that I'm still healing and even though I feel really good, I only had surgery 5 days ago! Take it easy. ????

  16. I got sleeved on Monday the 14th. I felt really good. I was discharged the next day. The only thing I'm wAiting on now is a BM. I am really shocked at how good I feel. Except for being tired pain is minimal and I only take meds at night.
