Last Minute Question

Doing some last minute packing before i head to the hospital tomorrow, need to know what should i bring? per the doc, if everything goes well ill be out on Thursday (1day) but i want to make sure i bring what i need.

Toiletries, a change of clothes, your new gastric "bible" if you got one, and a pencil to take notes with for any last minute going home instructions. Oh, I also brought my own pillow. I find Im much more comfortable with it. I brought magazines and word games too, but I didn't even end up using them at all. I was busy in the hospital lol (And I was there 3 days and 2 nights) Best of Luck with your surgery :)

I took a set of my own comfy pj's. My own pillow (a must), a few magazines and word puzzles (which I didn't even take out of my bag). Between coming out of anesthesia and up and walking there really wasn't much time for anything else! Good luck ...you will do GREAT!!

Don't forget ur phone charger. The first day I was so doped up I coudln't even see the letters on my keyboard but by the 2nd day, I was texting away.

I used chapstick & bought a variety pack of lip smackers. Nice to have flavor!

Nightie-I sewed velcro to the straps so I could put on/ take off w/o problems

Robe

Toiletry case-brush, hair ties, face wipes, deodorant, extra glasses.

I brought headphones but didnt use bc I had private room.
