Preggo and post op

Recommended Posts

So I went for my yearly and have a new dr. she asked what I was taking for BC and I said nothing and she stressed how easily I can get pg if I'm not on BC... I explained my infertility and at the end of the visit she said well I guess I will see you when u come in pregnant... I was like uh huh

That will be in 2000....never! But if its meant to be it will happen and if it isn't I guess it won't. I'm not stressing over it anymore!

Your right..everything in its own timing I think. I didn't think this was my perfect timing but apparently some one has better ideas than me :) never give up. Everyday your body is getting healthier & stronger! With that renewed wellness and strength u never know what will happen! I wish for u to have nothing but wonderful baby news!

Wow, your stories mean the world to me. I am having my surgery in October and will then count down to the 12-24 month waiting period to fall pregnant. So excited to see that your body can handle it sooner. Congratulations to all the Mums to be.

Hi..unfortunately I lost the twins. It's been rough and just heartbreaking. Right now I don't know what the future holds..if even another chance will exist. I'm trying to heal emotionally and focus of the positive steps I'm making forward.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
