I can't seem to stop eating today. For some reason, I can't get full. Granted, I've had less than 400 calories all day but its been multiple low-cal foods. And I'm still not really full! Guess I need to drink more Water? Just thinking out loud!

Have a cookout to go to tomorrow so I hope this passes!

Are you eating any Protein? It satisfies hunger. Some types of foods just leave you wanting more.

I've had 46g of Protein so far today. Had high protein yogurt, a babybel cheese, grilled chkn, an egg, etc. LOL. Its all protein. I just finished dinner and am still under 700 calories for the day so I guess I didn't do too bad. Just an off day, I guess. :)

I get like that on the weekends when I don't have work to distract me. I could go all day at work and not even think about food.< /p>

Me too! I wonder if everyone's pouch is roughly the same size or just whatever the doc decided to do. Cuz I do wonder sometimes what's going on in there. Usually though, I eat something small and am full. Hopefully, it's just today...and for you too! :)

Maybe that's it. And my son was gone for two days. I've been alone. That may have contributed too.

I'm super stressed these days-a new job with a major move-and I am a starving Marvin! I'm sure it's the stress-increased adrenaline & cortisol, etc. I'm happy that I at least have increased my eating with healthy Snacks & not a morsel of junk.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
