haha. I have not tried it. I think it is just the idea of it that gets me. :) I can eat regular food this week' date=' so I think I will pass. lol[/quote']

Lol, you are funny, I don't blame you.

Omg I ate tuna salad at lunch today. It tastes great, but I are just a bit too much and now I feel bloated an uncomfortable. I seriously only are like 2 TBS. lol this is the weirdest and coolest experience ever!

I think I'm not realizing when I'm full and I'm going too far. I measured all the food I'm taking to work today. And I puréed chili in the food processor. Maybe something thinner will go down better.

Yeah, thinner food is better, good luck.

Just an FYI- I found an App for counting my protein. It cost $3.99, but so far its worth it for me.

I've been using My Fitness Pal but ignoring how many calories it thinks I should eat.

Thanks. Hope it works out. Have some cottage cheese for lunch and the chili for dinner. Figure I can't under chew those.

Mel i am 8 weeks post. Do you use myfitnesspal? Whats the name of the protein app?

It's called Protein Track. It has a red background with a man showing muscles. I wish it had a scanner for food, but it does let you create a food so you can add anything you can't find.

I am 2 and a half weeks out. I started food on Monday. So far everything is going well. I am not really good at guessing if I am full or not. I just stick to weighing everything.

Ok. I think if I burp, I'm full. I ate about 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and diced peaches. Burped. Stopped. Feel full but not uncomfortable like I have in the past.

Yeah, I learned the uncomfortable thing today (the hard way) and it wasn't fun. :( going to measure my dinner tonight. Chicken blended with refried beans, topped with a dollop of Greek yogurt, cheese, and salsa.

So much for that. The 1/4 cup total of cottage cheese mixed with peaches? Yeah. That came back up. So, so far, I can eat scrambled eggs and yogurt. What the hell did I do to myself? I just wanna cry.

I am feeling really blah today. I'm 6 days post op. i don't feel bad but I don't feel good. Anyone go through this?

That is exactly how I felt yesterday. Yesterday was 6 days post op for me. My surgery was the 12th. I think my body is just not bouncing back as quickly as others. Mine was a revision surgery so I am chalking it up to that. Today is a bit better but I am still not completely on my game. I just feel off and a little tired and blah

That sounds delicious! Sorry you felt bad but the recipe sounds yummy. I'm usually a good cook but I have been getting hung up on the whole purée thing.

Ok is anyone else worried they might loose too much weight? I just went to dr today and I had surgery 6/4 and I'm down 38lbs! Am I doing something wrong? Dr said no it was great but I'm worried about the future. Will I get sickly skinny? I'm not a fan of that look. Maybe it's just the shock of losing that much that quick but I thought it would be alittle more gradual.
