Weight loss prior to optifast

I need to lose 10lbs in order to set up my final appt. with my doctor to get my insurance approved, and I'm having such a hard time with it. I was hoping to have it done end if may - no I'm just crossing my fingers its completed before returning to school!

I've replaced a meal a day with a protein shake, and I'm consuming about 1200 calories. I'm loosing inches not weight! So frustrating, any tips help!
