Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

I'll be going back in for surgery to remove scar tissue in my intestines Monday morning. They said its a pretty rare complication but they do see it and the fix is a simple surgery.

Full clear liquid diet, for 2 weeks, cream of chicken, cream of potatoes, protein shakes, everything blenderized...on 7/2/13, I can go to soft foods, a week later soft to regular.

What were your symptoms?

Vomiting pretty much daily. I could only eat 1-1.5oz and sometimes it would come back up even hours later. Some liquids wouldn't even stay down. And my pills and vitamins were getting stuck and causing me to throw up also.
