June surgeries!

Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

I'm officially on the losers bench now with most of you. Surgery went great and now it's time to focus on recovery! See you all in the post op thread!

Surgery: 6/26/13 HW 370 CW 326

Y'all need to come on over to the June post ops side!!! Congrats!

I had/have the same thing in my right side. It got so bad that I ended up in the ER... Turns out' date=' I have gigantic bruises all over my abdominal muscles inside. Hurts sooooo badly![/quote']

I also have bruises inside and out but once I got the staples out yesterday it feels better. Still bruised still sore but not painful anymore!

If you don't have a tube it maybe gas pains. I know my left side was hurting so bad it felt like a burning sensation so I had to go and receive tardol pain shots (if I spelled it correctly)' date=' anyhow, I had to get 4 shots to make the pain go away. I was wondering why this wasn't given besides Lortab, it worked better and didn't make me feel drowsy.[/quote']

Once I got my staples out yesterday it doesn't hurt as bad now It's just like cramp much more tolerable!!

I'm 2days post op... Hopefully will be going home today. Feeling pretty good except for gas pains.

Walk walk walk... Trust me it makes a difference

So proud of EVERYONE who has ha surgery and good luck to the rest of you going in this week!

I'm one week post op and I'm about 7lbs down this week but over all including liver shrink diet I'm down 19lbs!

This is my second day out from the hospital, 4 day post-op. how is everyone doing with their meds, shakes, vitamins. I am not sure if I am mixing right. My husband mix me a shake yesterday ugh! it was watery.

Surgery tomorrow. Started my Mag Citrate cleanse. Man, that is some nasty tasting stuff. Now just hanging out waiting for the explosion. LOL. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is a head of me in this journey.

Awesome!!!! It's so crazy we all did this huh? I'm so happy for everyone!!

Very crazy but the results will be worth all the struggles!

4 days post op I'm sick of water already I had sugar free pudding and yogurt ... I finally took a shower it felt amazing... I mixed the protein powder in my pudding to get my protein.

Today is my first day to incorporate vitamins' date=' I purchase Emergen-C multivitamin, but I don't like it, any suggestions on chewable or liquid multivitamins?[/quote']

My doc recommends Flinstones Complete. I like them - and have been able to tolerate them even after surgery.

On my way to hospital. Surgery scheduled for 7:15. Prayers appreciated. See you guys on the losers bench.
