June surgeries!

Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

Is anyone having pains in the left side??? My side is hurting and feels like its in a constant cramp.

If you don't have a tube it maybe gas pains. I know my left side was hurting so bad it felt like a burning sensation so I had to go and receive tardol pain shots (if I spelled it correctly), anyhow, I had to get 4 shots to make the pain go away. I was wondering why this wasn't given besides Lortab, it worked better and didn't make me feel drowsy.

I'm 2days post op... Hopefully will be going home today. Feeling pretty good except for gas pains.

Finishing up my last shift before surgery on Friday morning. I'm suppose to be at the hospital at 5:45 in the morning. I'm excited. Got over the nervousness last week. Now just ready to get it done and move to the losers bench.

I'll be going back in for surgery to remove scar tissue in my intestines Monday morning. They said its a pretty rare complication but they do see it and the fix is a simple surgery.

I had my surgery Monday and I'm ok... You will all so find... My left side is what hurts...I still get a little nauseous when I wake up but I'm taking the meds till that goes away... There's a lot of gurgling and moving around in there but set not as bad as I thought. Good luck to everyone that's going today or soon! !! You can do this!!

Wishing you the best!

Thank God I am home. The pillow work out find. Until my husband pulled into Rite Aide to fill my prescriptions. He misjudge the entryway and I had relax the pillow for a bit. I will never let go of my pillow again. "Hurts!!" Now I have to keep track of making shakes, taking meds, when to take walk and make time for walking. With all that said I know that I with the Lord I made the right decision, and would do it again. Slide over make room for me. Praying for all those going into surgery and coming out. Thanks your prays as well. Let's get through this adventure together.

It's official I'm day 1 post op & starting to feel better
