June surgeries!

Hey all! I looked around and couldn't find anything for June surgeries. I don't have my exact date yet, but it will be the 1st or 2nd week of June!! Sooo excited!! I had my lap band out on April 18th and they were supposed to do the bypass, but they weren't able to due to scar tissue. I saw my surgeon today and all should be a go for June! Yay!!!! RNY here I come!!!

When I made Popsicles the powder all settled in bottom. Not very tasty.

I use a cup of powder and a cup of milk and put it in the blender for a full minute. Makes it really thick. Yesterday I made chocolate ones with a tablespoon of Peanut Butter. O. M. G. Reese's cup!!!!!

ladies..try this peanut butter. 2g of sugars and 6g of protein, 7g in carbs. I had a teaspoon of it wonderfull. It's organic and glutten free. What impressed me the best is that it does not have all the oil like regular peanut butter. It's pretty dry!!

Yes, I use it frequently. It's not sweet at all so I add Splenda or torani. I like it in shakes and in Greek yogurt.

Oh man. Day 20 post op and I feel like crap. The last few days I've been tired, low energy, low blood sugar (light headed when I stand up). I'm eating right, taking all necessary vitamins, getting in my 64oz of water. I think this surgery is finally kicking my ass!

Good morning :) Hope everyone is feeling better today.

I had a bad food day yesterday, as in not enough. So even though I'm allowed pureed foods, I'm having an Ensure high protein shake so I know I've gotten at least 25 g of protein today

You didn't mention protein, are you getting enough protein besides your water? Do you think your food is enough protein? I felt like that once and it was my protein. I hope your energy kick in.
